Obtained from Melaleuca leucadendron, a plant of the Myrtaceae family, Cajeput essential oil chogan is known for its multiple properties and is beneficial for the respiratory and urinary tracts. • Analgesic: when massaged onto sore areas, it has an anti-inflammatory action useful in the symptomatic treatment of headache, joint pain, arthritis, neuralgia and gout. • Antibiotic: valid remedy complementing the treatment of infections such as cystitis, urethritis or infections of the first part of the

vaginal canal, whether of bacterial or fungal (Candida albicans-related) origin. • Balsamic: effective for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the respiratory system, such as colds, sore throats and coughs,

thanks to its mucolytic and expectorant properties. • Vasoprotector: can be used as a decongestant and phlebotonic in cases of haemorrhoids and varicose veins. • Skin soothing: it helps to calm redness and

irritation in case of skin diseases, wounds, dermatosis, gum inflammation. INCI: Melalauca leucadendron cajaput oil ALLERGENS: limonene, linalool, geraniol, isoeugenol, farnesol, citral, citronellol.

HOW TO USE Cajeput essential oil chogan

SUGGESTED USE • Diffusion: pour one drop per square metre in the diffuser of choice, i.e. in an essential oil burner or in the water of radiator humidifiers, to purify the air and in case of flu symptoms. • Balsamic

lotion: add 10 drops to a base cream and massage into the chest, three times daily, covering with a warm woollen cloth; useful in case of coughs for its antispasmodic properties. • Solution for inhalation: to help

against bronchitis, sinusitis and congestion of the respiratory tract, add 10 drops to a bowl of boiling water and inhale through your nose with your mouth closed after covering your head with a towel. Continue until

steam flows out.
