DESCRIPTION
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Derived from Rosmarinus Officinalis, a plant of the Labiatae family,
Rosemary essential oil is known for its stimulating and purifying properties. • Uplifting: when diffused, it works on the central nervous system, boosting energy, promoting concentration and improving memory.
- Anti-cellulite: widely used in cosmetic formulations and in mud treatments for cellulite or localised fat deposits, due to its lipolytic action (dissolves fats).
- Anti-inflammatory: diluted in sweet almond oil, it relieves joint and muscular pain, dissolves uric acid and the crystals that stiffen epidermal tissues, forming oedema, swelling and fluid retention.
- Expectorant: a decongestant acting on the respiratory tract by
fluidifying phlegm and facilitating its expulsion through coughing.
- Mucolytic: effectively reduces the incidence of common colds and bronchitis, helping to keep the respiratory tract clear.
- Pain-relieving: reduces local joint and muscle pain.
- Astringent and purifying: useful for the treatment of acne-prone skin
and skin with dark spots, it is also used in lotions and shampoos for oily hair, to treat dandruff and to combat hair loss, as it stimulates circulation.
INCI: Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil.
ALLERGENS: Limonene, Linalool.
METHOD OF EXTRACTION: obtained by steam distillation SUITABLE FOR COSMETIC USE
