DESCRIPTION
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Derived from Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant of the Myrtaceae family, Tea
tree essential oil is known for its wide range of beneficial properties for skin and hair. It has antibacterial,
healing, antifungal and deodorant properties, making it one of the most precious resources nature has to
offer. • Antibacterial: recommended for the treatment of cystitis and candidiasis, herpes as well as skin
and nail fungi. • Mucolytic: improves breathing and combats influenza symptoms (mucus and phlegm). If
inhaled, indeed, it has a fluidifying and expectorant action, beneficial for nasal stuffiness and bronchial
secretions. • Anti-parasitic: especially recommended against lice in adults and in school-age children and
against parasites on animals. • Soothing: highly beneficial in case of sunburn, nappy rash, itching, skin
inflammation, dermatitis, minor burns and insect stings or bites. • Antiseptic: purifying for combination to
oily skin and recommended to reduce skin blemishes caused by acne; it penetrates deeply, balancing
sebum production and helping disinfect hair follicles. It also eliminates dead skin cells, thus preventing
them from clogging the pores. INCI: Melaleuca Alternifolia leaf oil ALLERGENS: limonene, linalool,
geraniol METHOD OF EXTRACTION: obtained by steam distillation FOR COSMETIC USE
